  14. <p>     DIED. Roy Lee ("Chucky") Mullins, 21, ex-defensive back for
  15. the University of Mississippi Rebels; of complications from a
  16. blood clot in a lung; in Memphis. Two weeks ago, while dressing
  17. for class, Mullins stopped breathing. Mullins, who was black,
  18. became an inspirational figure in the state for continuing school
  19. after a tackle he made in a 1989 game against Vanderbilt paralyzed
  20. him from the neck down.
